  • Message from the Artist

Ever since I got my hands on a jeweler’s saw and a sheet of metal I have been hooked. I find it necessary to be in my studio and create as much as possible. Jewelry design and metalsmithing have always been passions of mine. The act of creating is an important therapeutic outlet for me. My work also reflects on personal relationships in my life and experiences of love and loss, which play a significant role in the intent of my craft and my creativity. The pieces I create and the authenticity that can be achieved in the craft of jewelry making is something I find vital. Knowing each piece leaves my studio with a trace of my craftsmanship and a story of it’s own is part of the joy of the craft for me. I hope to create a line of jewelry that provides the wearer the same thing the process provides me—an escape.
